In Step 3, you determined your goal score for each section of the SAT. Now that you know what scores youâre aiming for, letâs talk about how many more questions you need to get correct to achieve those scores.
On the next few pages, youâll find some scoring charts that show how the number of correct answers corresponds to the test score for Reading, Writing and Language, and Math, respectively. (The number of questions that corresponds to a certain score on the SAT varies a little from test to test, but these charts will give you a good basis for setting your goals.)
Look up your goal score for each test, then read across the row to find the number of questions you need to get correct.
